Let's take a moment to think about the road warriors out there.

As someone who used to drive 40,000 miles per year for work, how do you squeeze in time for professional development? It's hard! It often gets dispensed in the form of something to read. As much as I would have loved to consume new knowledge while driving down I-81, it wasn't going to be in the form of reading. I probably wouldn't be here today if I had tried.

How do you convince the powers that be to take into consideration the learning environment of my fellow road warriors?

You talk them into shifting that text-heavy document to a podcast.

Driving, flying, and hotel-ing (not a real word) are all prime opportunities for absorbing some new content. As long as it's in the right format. Go ahead and give a podcast a try for your employees who see an airport terminal more often than their cubicle. They'll likely appreciate it.
